Processing of Personal Data

Who processes the data

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer — the nature and scope of our activities do not require it.

What data and why

Data marked as mandatory are needed to process the reservation — without them it cannot be processed. The "How did you hear about us" field is optional and serves only for statistics.

We do not use the data for advertising and do not sell it to anyone.

Who receives the data

The data is processed by us and our employees. It is further processed by the technical services we use:

• Google Ireland Ltd. — calendars, spreadsheets and email in which we keep reservations
• Cloudflare, Inc. — form protection against bots and technical data delivery
• Banan.cz s.r.o. — website hosting
• Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Analytics) — website traffic measurement, based on your consent given in the cookie bar
• Toplist.cz — website traffic measurement, based on your consent given in the cookie bar
• OpenStreetMap Foundation — address autocomplete. Text you type into the "Street" field is sent to the OpenStreetMap address search. If you do not wish this, fill in the address manually without the autocomplete.

We may hand over data to public authorities where required by law.

How long we keep it

• Reservations and history of stays: for 3 years from the last visit
• Record of no-shows: for 3 years from the entry
• Accounting and tax documents: for the statutory period (usually 10 years)

After these periods we delete the data.

Camera system in the resort

The resort is monitored by a camera system with recording for the protection of property and persons. This part applies to everyone moving within the monitored areas, regardless of whether they make a reservation.

Purpose: protection of property, health and safety of persons, prevention and investigation of unlawful conduct and handling of incidents.
Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Processing is not based on consent — consent does not apply to a security camera system.

Scope: the restaurant premises and gradually other parts of the resort are monitored. Monitored areas are marked with an information sign at the entrance. The system records video only, without audio.

Retention: the recording is stored in a loop and automatically overwritten, for a maximum of 7 days. In the event of an incident, we extract only the relevant part and keep it for the time necessary to resolve it (asserting or defending legal claims, handover to authorities).

Who receives it: the recording is not routinely handed to anyone and is accessible only to authorised persons of the controller. In the event of an incident, the relevant part may be handed to the Police of the Czech Republic or other authorities, or to an insurer or legal representative. The recording is not transferred outside the EU.

The system does not use facial recognition or automated decision-making and does not serve to monitor employees (Section 316 of the Labour Code). You have the same rights as below regarding the recording, including the right to object.

Your rights

In relation to your data you have the right to:

• know what data we keep about you and obtain a copy of it
• have inaccurate data corrected
• request erasure or restriction of processing
• object to processing based on legitimate interest (registration plate, history of stays, no-shows, camera recording)
• obtain your data in a machine-readable format and transfer it elsewhere

If you are not satisfied with our approach, you can contact the supervisory authority: the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7.

Cookies

The website uses two types of cookies:

• Strictly necessary — needed for the basic functioning of the website and to remember your cookie choice. Stored without consent.
• Analytics — Google Analytics and Toplist, which measure our traffic. Stored and launched only after your consent given in the cookie bar; you can decline it just as easily or withdraw it at any time.

The reservation form itself does not use any tracking cookies.
