Please pay attention to the following fishing rules and general rules of conduct on our water.

JezeroVojkovice operates on a catch & release sport fishing basis on a private body of water.

  • These rules are binding on every person fishing at JezeroVojkovice (hereinafter the "angler") and on every visitor to the premises.
  • Permits and information are available at reception in the restaurant or on tel. +420 724 102 127.
  • Entry to the premises is possible only after payment according to the current price list.
  • Quiet hours (22:00 – 6:00): During quiet hours it is forbidden to leave the premises. Arrivals and departures at night only with the operator's consent.
  • Visitors and companions: must be reported to the on-site staff (reception / tel. +420 724 102 127).
    • A visitor (until 20:00, vehicle in the car park, not fishing) is free of charge.
    • A companion (staying after 20:00 or overnight): a non-angler according to the Permit Price List, CZK 400 / 24h per adult, not fishing. Children under 15 as companions (max. 4 per adult) free of charge, not fishing. A companion may sleep over in a vehicle at the fishing swim; the number of vehicles at the swim is limited by its capacity (decided by staff).
    • Family members are covered by the Family Permit.
  • We are a community – please report any breach of the rules or poaching. Your cooperation is key to protecting our lake.

Fishing rules

1. Catching aquatic organisms
Catching aquatic organisms that are a food source for the fish is PROHIBITED.
2. Fishing regime
Fishing is on a NON-STOP 24-hour and Catch & Release basis.
(A day permit is valid until 22:00 of the same day from issue)
2a. Night fishing (22:00 – 6:00)
An angler fishing during the night interval must:
  • Have visible lighting (head torch, lantern, bivvy light)
  • Reason: Safety + identification by the warden
3. State fishing licence
We recommend holding a state fishing licence.
4. Number of rods
2 rods per angler are permitted. A third rod can be purchased by agreement with the operator (when occupancy is low).
4a. Who may fish
Only a person with their own valid permit may set up, cast or hold a rod. The permit is non-transferable to another person. The number of rods at a fishing swim must not exceed the number of valid permits × the permitted number of rods (see point 4). Companions and visitors do not fish and do not handle rods.
A child's permit is always tied to an adult angler's permit and cannot be purchased separately; if a child in a group wishes to fish, the accompanying adult must hold their own fishing permit.
5. Catfish fishing – special rules
  • Catfish fishing must be announced in advance to the operator.
  • Max. 2 rods for catfish only are permitted.
  • On a buoy: two treble hooks are permitted.
  • Minimum bait size: 35 cm.
  • When fishing for catfish, simultaneous fishing for other fish is not permitted.
  • A boat (large craft) may be used to play the fish.
CATFISH REGULATION:
- Catfish up to 180 cm: RETURNING IS PROHIBITED! Contact the operator. You may keep it.
- Catfish over 180 cm: Protected – must be returned (will be documented).
- White (albino) catfish: Fully protected – must be returned (will be documented).

A catfish that is retained must be humanely dispatched right by the water or transported in accordance with the animal-protection regulations.

Mandatory equipment: large unhooking mat/tarp, landing net min. 100 cm.

6. Fishing for predators
PROHIBITED!
7. Rigs
Rigs must be free-running – safe (drop-off) (the lead comes off by itself if the fish breaks off).
  • Min. line diameter: 0.28 mm
  • Shock leader: max. 0.60 mm
  • A length of line may be used as the hook link on the end rig
  • PROHIBITED: Braid as a hook link in the end section (last 1 m)
  • Landing net: min. arms 80 cm
  • MANDATORY: Barbless hooks
8. Baits
Permitted only: boilies, pellets, sweetcorn and artificial baits imitating these baits.
9. Baiting (groundbait)
Permitted: boilies, pellets, cooked particle, method mix.
10. Boats
For baiting and dropping off rigs: only RC bait boats are permitted.
Large craft and boats only when fishing for catfish.
11. Marking the swim
Possible only with a pole marker buoy, up to a maximum of halfway across the water.
12. Reach of the rods
The angler is obliged to stay within reach of the rods.
13. Handling of catches – animal protection
  • Unhooking: only on a wet mat with raised sides
  • Wet hands when handling the fish
  • Keep pouring water over the fish
  • Treat injuries with disinfectant (Betadine, Rivanol)
  • Gentle return to the water
  • Max. time out of the water: 5 minutes (photo + unhooking)
  • PROHIBITED: Retaining fish in a sack for later photos
13a. Rare and valuable species – documentation obligation

When the following species are caught, it is MANDATORY to document them and inform the warden:

Rare species (mandatory documentation):
  • Catfish over 180 cm (protected)
  • Carp over 20 kg | 100+ cm
  • Grass carp (amur) over 15 kg | 100+ cm
  • Sturgeon (any size)
  • Albino (white form of carp/catfish/grass carp)
PROCEDURE when a rare species is caught:
  1. ✅ Measure and weigh gently
  2. ✅ Photograph (over the mat, max. 5 minutes out of the water; large catches only in the water)
  3. Inform the warden: +420 724 102 127

  5. ✅ Return it gently to the water

Your photo will be published on our website and social media (if you agree). You help us track the growth of our most valuable fish!

14. Unhooking mat
The mat must have raised protective sides. It can be borrowed at the restaurant (for a fee).
15. Photography
Taken over the mat, kneeling, or in the water, immediately after landing.
Max. time: 5 minutes!
16. Catch return slip
Every angler is obliged to return the completed catch slip "permit" after finishing fishing (even with a nil catch).

General rules of conduct on the premises

1. Parking
Permitted in the designated area. Entry to a fishing swim is allowed for generally one vehicle per permit, for a fee according to the Permit Price List; additional and companion vehicles are charged according to the price list and their number is limited by the capacity of the swim (decided by staff). Vehicles must not block access or fire routes or the barriers.
2. Personal hygiene
WC and washroom in the main building of the premises available 24/7.
3. Cleanliness
Please keep the place clean. Others will come after you.
4. Washing in the lake
STRICTLY PROHIBITED! Any washing, shampoos, soaps, etc.
5. Alcohol and drugs
Excessive consumption of alcohol or the use of drugs is prohibited.
6. Noise
Radios and TVs are allowed, but the noise must not exceed the boundaries of your fishing swim. Respect others!
7. Waste
Waste and cigarette butts belong in the collection bins.
8. Leaving the swim
Return the fishing swim to its original condition.
9. Pruning
Pruning LIVE trees and bushes is prohibited. Dry branches and fallen trees may be removed. Consult larger interventions with the operator.
10. Fires
Prohibited outside designated places. A grill and portable fireplaces are permitted.
11. Contractual penalties for breach of the rules
  • Minor breach: Warning or a contractual penalty of up to CZK 1,000
  • Fishing without a valid permit or a rod not covered by a permit: payment of the full permit + a contractual penalty equal to another permit (2× the permit). On repetition or refusal to pay: immediate removal without compensation.
  • Serious breach: Immediate removal without compensation + permanent ban
  • Theft of fish: Reported to the Police of the Czech Republic
  • The operator has the right to claim compensation for damage in full
12. Compliance with the law
The angler is obliged to comply with the Fisheries Act (e.g. not to use explosives, poisons or electric current, and not to fish under the ice).
13. Photographs and videos
If you send us a photo of a catch to info@jezerovojkovice.cz or by another form of electronic communication, we may use it on the website and social media. You may request deletion at any time.
Drones only with the operator's consent.
14. Security of the premises
The premises are regularly checked by wardens with night-vision binoculars.
15. Protection of water and fish
Behave so as not to worsen the water quality or harm the fish and their environment.
16. Responsibility for belongings
Everyone is responsible for their own belongings and for items borrowed from the operator.
17. Responsibility for health
The operator bears no responsibility for harm to health caused by one's own carelessness or by a breach of the rules.
18. Swimming
In the summer season, fishing in the front section is restricted out of consideration for swimmers.
19. Inspection
The operator has the right to inspect vehicles, luggage and the bivvy on suspicion of a breach of the rules.
20. Breeding zone
Fishing is permanently prohibited in the rear section – the breeding zone (marked with signs).
21. Dropping off rigs
It is prohibited to drop off rigs into the breeding zone (immediate removal).
22. Islands
Entry onto the islands and fishing from the islands is prohibited.
23. Fishing equipment
It is prohibited to damage or destroy the fishing equipment.
24. Agreement to the rules
By paying for fishing, the angler, and by entering the premises, the visitor, agrees to these rules and is obliged to follow them.
